7.3 puts more direct control in your hands when building and presenting models. Edit table-chart comparisons in place, author formulas with a smarter, context-aware editor, and manage permissions through a redesigned Access Rights experience (now available as an opt-in beta).

## Edit comparisons in place

* Edit existing table-chart comparisons instead of deleting and rebuilding them from scratch
* A new Edit Comparisons dialog lists all comparisons on the left with their full configuration on the right
* Rename or reconfigure any comparison, pre-filled with its current settings
* Edit several comparisons in a single session and apply everything with one Save (Cancel discards all changes)
* Delete individual comparisons from the list; edited comparisons keep their position in the chart

## Redesigned Access Rights Beta

This feature is available as a beta and must be opted in before it can be used.

* A streamlined Access Rights matrix with a compact filter bar for projects, users and groups, and categories
* Swap users/groups and objects between rows and columns with a single Pivot table button
* Edit access directly from any matrix cell through a popover, with a plain-language "Why this access?" explanation
* The per-holder editor groups permissions into collapsible per-project cards with sortable object lists
* See each user's type at a glance with a colored badge in the matrix

## Smarter formula editor

* Autocomplete now suggests dimensions, levels, level values, data sources, and project variables — not just node arguments
* Suggestions are context-aware and follow the dimension → level → level value hierarchy
* Clear, human-readable messages when a formula has a problem: unknown functions (with "did you mean?" suggestions), unbalanced brackets, unclosed quotes, and missing separators
* Inline signature help shows a function's parameters as you type
* Fewer false errors on formulas that were valid all along

## Other Improvements

* **Level search in the filter dialog**
  Type to filter levels in the chart editor's Filter dialog popover, matching dimension names first and then level names — no more scrolling through long lists. For more information, see [Chart Filter](/chart-filter/).
* **Clearer model validation**
  Model validation now distinguishes blocking errors from non-blocking warnings, with per-severity counts in dialogs and node tooltips. Severity is readable at any zoom level — a red outline for errors and gold for warnings — and validation cascades correctly across sub-model boundaries.
