# Duplicating a Project

Description: To duplicate a project, navigate to the three-dot menu on the project card and click on “Duplicate”.
Duplicate an existing Valsight project, either in full or with only selected workspaces.

## Steps

### Duplicate a project

1. Open the three-dot menu on the project card.
2. Click **Duplicate**.
3. Confirm the duplication in the dialog that appears.

### Duplicate with selected workspaces

If you do not want to duplicate the entire project, including all [Workspaces](/workspaces/), duplicate it from the project settings instead:

1. Open the Valsight settings and go to the project settings overview.

2. Select the project you want to duplicate from the list on the left.
3. Click **Duplicate**.

4. In the dialog, enter a name and business key for the duplicate.
5. Select which workspaces to include in the duplicate.

6. Click **Duplicate** to finish.

## What you have done

The duplicated project appears in the Project overview, with the name and business key you assigned.
