# Logging in the Backend

Description: How admin users configure backend logging levels and download log files from the System Configuration page.
As an admin user, go to the System Configuration page (1a). Many parts of the system allow you to increase the log level.

*Tip: Get in contact with the Valsight Support team, we are happy to assist.*

All output is written to *application.log*. The log files can be downloaded via "Metrics and Logs" from the System Configuration page
