Overview

To find out which version you are running, either check the login screen or the bottom of each administration page.

Verifying downloads

SHA1 checksums of the current release packages, in sha1sum format:

To verify a download, save the checksums to a file named SHA1SUMS next to the downloaded package and check it (entries for packages you did not download are skipped):

sha1sum -c SHA1SUMS --ignore-missing

Or compute the hash and compare it manually:

sha1sum valsight-server-X.X.X.zip

On Windows, use PowerShell instead:

Get-FileHash -Algorithm SHA1 valsight-server-X.X.X.zip

All releases are additionally signed with a GPG key — see Digitally Signed Releases for how to verify the signature.
