User Settings

Personal account settings in Valsight: how to manage your password, change your language, and work faster with keyboard shortcuts.

Password

Reset password

It is not possible to reset your password via Valsight.

To reset your password, you need to contact your project administrator or the Valsight support: support@valsight.com or +49 30 46799042

Change password

You can change your password by clicking on your account’s initials in the bottom left corner of the app. This will open the following tab where you can enter a new password.

Info:

This only applies to Valsight Users that login with Valsight Usernames + Password. If your are using your companies Identity Provider (Single-Sign-On), change your password there.

Language Settings

Global Language Settings

This setting is used to set the default language settings for the entire instance and each user on login. It is best to use this when setting up the Valsight instance to match your internal communication language.

To set the default language for all users of your instance, navigate to the Project Settings, scroll to the featureFlags.userLanguage setting and select the language you require.

Info:

Please note that changing the language settings also effects the number format. (i.e. EN: 100,000.10 DE: 100.000,10)
